This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights under the GDPR.

1. Data we process

• Account & contact: name, e-mail, phone, company name, VAT/registration number, address.
• License & usage: license type, seats, license/activation keys, non-personal hardware identifiers generated from selected hardware characteristics, computer name, and IP address, used to activate licenses and enforce seat/device limits. IP addresses are processed only for security, fraud prevention and license-activation logging. We keep periodic license-check logs.

• Purchases: order history and amounts. Card/payment data is processed by our payment provider, not stored by us (see §4).
• Support: messages you send us, and diagnostic log files or other files you upload for support. Diagnostic log files may contain technical information about vehicles or devices; we process such files solely to provide the requested support.

2. Why we process it (purposes & legal bases)

• Providing the software and licenses, account management — performance of a contract.
• Activation, seat/device enforcement, fraud prevention, security — legitimate interests.
• Invoicing, tax and accounting — legal obligation.
• Marketing e-mails (if applicable) — consent, withdrawable anytime.

3. Retention

We keep data while your account/license is active and as required for tax/accounting (typically [10] years for invoices). Uploaded support files are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. You can request deletion (§6).

4. Processors and recipients

We share data only with processors acting on our behalf, including:

• our payment provider (Merchant of Record — payments, billing, tax, fraud);

The Services and e-mail are hosted on our own infrastructure; we do not use a third-party hosting or e-mail provider. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Where processors are outside the EEA, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact info@logview.net. You may also lodge a complaint with the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ) or your local supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

The website uses necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies — including Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — to understand site usage. We may also use Google reCAPTCHA (Google) to protect forms from abuse, which processes some technical data with Google. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the cookie banner.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

9. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. (Automated license/seat checks are used only to deliver the service you purchased.)

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified.
